Happy Thanksgiving Week

I can’t believe we are already almost to Thanksgiving!  Closing in on another great weekend, I wanted to take a minute to think ahead about the week-Thanksgiving week!  We do Thanksgiving pretty traditional and simple and I love it that way!! My family gets together for a great meal-Turkey and all the trimmings at my parents house.  This year I am planning on bringing a couple super fun Thanksgiving recipes, check them out here:
Turkey Cheeseball from Crafts a la mode: http://www.craftsalamode.com/2015/11/thanksgiving-turkey-cheese-ball.html

Rice Krispy Turkey Legs from Kitchen Fun with my 3 sons:  https://kitchenfunwithmy3sons.com/rice-krispies-turkey-legs/

So, of course I have some happy kiddos to help me make these as well:) We have a short week at school this week-getting out early on Wednesday and a 4 day weekend!  Because we have a crazy life, I have squeezed in a couple doctor appointments while they aren’t in school, they are less than thrilled with me!
Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions??  Looking ahead at the week, I am going to try to squeeze in some extra holiday week fun this week with my kids.  I like to do Thanksgiving jokes/trivia at the breakfast table.  Check out some Free Printables below:

We also like to make a pumpkin pie for the boys in our house-me and my girls aren’t huge fans, but the kids love to make it:) The older they get the trickier fitting this in our schedule at night is, but we are giving it a try anyhow.  Next on list of tradition is Black Friday (Now Thursday) shopping.  I do this with my family, my sister and I make a plan, split up and help each other.  I love shopping, just love to get a great deal!  I always think to myself even if money was no issue, I would still coupon /hunt deals like crazy.  Then lastly this weekend we take down our fall décor and yes put up the Christmas tree!  I love Christmas and all the decorations are so much fun!  We actually put up our tree downstairs today, we have a Disney Tree to showcase all out Disney ornaments and trips we have been lucky enough to go on!
From my family to yours-have a great Thanksgiving-Happy Holidays!
