Baked Parmesan Green Beans~YUM

Last night while making dinner, I grabbed one of the many bags of frozen beans we have saved from our garden this summer and was just about to prepare them my usual boring way, which is boil them and put a little butter on before serving, but then remembered a recipe I had seen about a year ago for Roasted Parmesan Green Beans.  So, I quickly got out my recipe file (a total mess-that will have to be another project!) and flipped through and of course found nothing! So, I decided well I can wing it or come up with my own new recipe~so here it goes:)

Baked Parmesan Green Beans

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.


1 bag frozen green beans

Olive Oil



Parmesan Cheese


Cover cookie sheet in foil (for easier clean up-not required), then arrange frozen green beans in a single layer on cookie sheet.  Drizzle beans with Olive Oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Lastly, sprinkle beans with Parmesan Cheese.  Cook at 400 degrees (maybe a lower temp if your beans are already thawed) for 20 minutes, flipping or mixing up some half way through.

My family told me they LOVED it!  My kids said OOOO looks fancy mom! This recipe is definitely a keeper, everyone ate their green beans!!
