So, we are winding down on our youth football/cheerleading program here in our town, and tomorrow is our last game. I coach my daughters cheerleading squad, and it consists on 18 girls (but I created the treats for both of the squads~36 little girls!), grades Kindergarten through fourth. This is my second year being a coach and I like to do a special little end of the season treat. Last year we did Starbursts and this year I did Airhead Xtremes.
So, I am impressed on how these turned out and wanted to share! I really enjoy craft like projects like this and definitely love to make things for the kids. I ordered the Airhead Xtremes from Amazon in bulk, got the cute royal blue and football ribbon at our local Walmart, and got the shiny royal blue poster board at Hobby Lobby. Then, I used a star template I just printed off from a quick Google search, (my actual drawing skills are limited:) and used regular avery address labels and the avery.com website to create my tag. Lastly, I taped the stars on, so I didn’t compromise the package of candy at all, I figured no one would enjoy stale airheads which is why I went with the tape. Check them out below:
