No Carve Pumpkin Decorating Ideas
Looking for some more fall fun?! One of the best parts of fall in my opinion is pumpkins! Although we do usually carve a pumpkin every year, we also love to do some fun no carve pumpkin decorating. No carve decorating can be great, because pumpkins won’t rot as quickly if not carved, not as messy (gooey, pumpkin seeds), and it can be a quick and easy way to decorate. Check out a few of our favorite no carve ideas.
- BLING IT UP– We do this one every year, decorate your pumpkins with self adhesive gems! You can see our up above! You can buy craft rhinestone gems at your local craft stores, like Michaels, Hobby Lobby.etc. and my favorite Amazon!!
- MAKE A FACE– It is as easy as it sounds! You can use foam stickers or regular stickers. This can be a fun activity not only at home but with groups! Check out this: Halloween Funny Face Decorating kit-for 12 pumpkins
- PAINT THEM! This is obviously super fun and lets everyone be creative. When we paint pumpkins at home, we set up a card table in the garage and paint outdoors. Painting can be messy, but with preparation, you can make things much easier:) We use acrylic paint, it stays on the pumpkin pretty well. You can also use a paper plate for a painters palette for them as well!
- PUMPKIN PARTS-These are plastic usually and stick into the pumpkin (Kinda like a Mr Potato head). Although this is still considered a no carve method-do be aware that the pumpkin can get soft much quicker because holes will be made into the pumpkin. Check these pumpkin parts out below:
